Hi... So I played wow since it's released date and quit 3 month ago (man I had NO life at that point) Now things got a bit better, but I do miss MMO's, the thing is I do not wanna go back to wow because I know i'll be addicted again.. I dont mind playing 6 hours straight as long as I dont think about it during the 18 other hours of the day... you probably understand what I mean hehe.

Is warhammer addicting as wow is? I know all Mmo's are but I believe there are different degrees..

How's the pvp? I had a gladiator in bc for those who know w/e that means.. Im aware arena was really retarded

I also had 3 twinks if anyone here ever read vindication forums you probably know me... are there twinks in warhammer? Any world pvp? Quest?

Please give me your insight about the game.. or just your opinions if you want!

Warhammer is addicting, BUT since WoW is only truely addicting to New MMO players, warhammer shouldn't have you cracked out during the day. You may think about it, but not like WoW.

I've played all sorts of mmos and didn't seem to get addicted to any of them. This game doesn't seem addictive at all to me accept for when you take a fort or something and lots of enemies are rushing and you fight them off. It's just exhilarating.

So I think could be addictive for short periods.

get WAR! you dont have to do stupid arena for good gear, you just play scenarios which are like battlegrounds for something thats like honor, except for you dont have to spend it to get items. you earn renown from killing people in RvR and you need a certain level of renown to buy good items with GOLD so you never have to get renown up again. But, what can i say, i play games for PvP not PvE because i think that PvE is really easy and needs to be shot. just my opinion.



Edit. Twinks. No not really, you get too much exp to be a twink. There are some well geared lvl 11s but they soon level up and are useless. World pvp? what do you mean by this? there are designated places that you fight the other side for capture points, keeps, etc. By taking these you gain control of the area, and at tier 3 (lvl 40ish) you can push into the enemy capital city. There are public quests where usually it starts as you need to kill 50 of these certain monster. After you do that, some bigger monsters spawn and then a hero. You get influence for doing any part of these quests which gets you rewards. they are also useful for exp.

play WAR since 2 days now and i'm addicted aleady

so doesn't matter what you do/play (but i hated WoW (boring) and WAR is much more fun as far as i can judge that with my experience)


edit: and some opinions so far about the game:

RvR from start on + exp for it and other stuff like items etc.
PvP is all around you
Easy to find a team to play with (much easier than on WoW)
Public Quests wich are all fun, big partys, good exp/items

but well i'm just rank 8 atm, can't say much more but it attract me

I have a 17 and 16, its pretty fun. I still dont like questing and leveling. Renown is hard to get, surprisingly. I play scenarios a lot but its still lower level then my rank.
