Is this game worth buying?

i've been considering getting it myself since 3 or 4 of my friends play it

If you can play during the day its worth it. At night there just isn't enought people on on the open rvr servers to be worth it(im talking after 10:00pm). The gameplay itself is great though.

Since your friends play I would say go for it regardless though.

my servers get ridiculous at night sometimes.


Here is one of the coolest things ive done in a long time.



I was defending my castle from the Order faction. There were two Warbands (about 60 people total) just on the Destruction side only. This battle continued and went back and forth forever. My ex came home and we watched a movie. I came back and the battle is still going! Even more people.
So that means--in total- about 120 people battling each other at one spot, open area for anyone to come join the battle. Standing atop one of the castle walls shooting a ballista at the order and seeing the masses of people.

i agree. ive been playing it for a while and one day the server just exploded and i swear the entire order army battle the entire destro army over reikwald, its was fuking INSANE

i was defending the keep and im an ironbreaker (a tank) , so i figured my best function would be to try to run out the keep door, popping in and out to distract/deal damage to the assailants,

I STEPPED OUT OF THE KEEP DOOR AND MY ENTIRE SCREEN WAS FILLED WITH DESTRO PLAYERS ROFL

and past a certain point there was no more,... I RAN INTO THE CROWD AND REALIZED THAT PAST THOSE PLAYERS THERE WAS 2-3 x AS MANY BEHIND THEM THEY JUST DIDNT DISPLAY YET ROFL

that was INSANE

if you like mmorpgs but your not a gimp , and you like a competitive human verse human experience
its worth it
im glad i bought it and play it

make sure you get vent and headphones/mic and all, and aspire to be in the best guild on your server... just keep your head down and keep grinding till 40 and start joining raids with them, talking with them etc, before long you will be in it no problem and you will be at the fore front of all the action on the server
best way to join ANY guild you want in fact, be a healer lol (but not a shity one heh, they are all good i mean dont suck at it heh (its not that hard))

well, my server anyway has lack of healers

mostly everyone needs a healer for everything tho ;p

just some advice... play whatever would be funnest for you tho
