Warhammer 40k?

Not really no, it's normal warhammer with orcs / Elves / humans alike, with swords n stuff

Are they related?

not that i know of.. if they are its extremely distant due to the 40k years between the two occurrences .. it is made by the same company but thats about it games-workshop.com if you want to try and look into it for a connection

In Warhammer-online you have Old World and you fight in those reality.

Actually Warhammer 40k and Warhammer fantasy is the same time period... Warhammer Fantasy (Or Warhammer Online) is a distant planet in the 40k solar system protected by a black mass, which makes it impossible to travel between the 2 universes.
