Thoughts: (my random thoughts, skip if you wish)
I played wow for 3 years since 2006 and quit 4-5 months ago because of it's boring repetitive grinds, as well as the fact that blizzard thought it would be funny to give everyone the same easy to obtain epics so that everyone is running around wearing the same gear, using the same talents, doing the same daily quests for easy gold, raiding the same instances, queuing up for the same battlegrounds, and at the same time looking like clones. So I started to play D2 again because of the announcement of D3 and the awesome game play video from blizzard and all I have to say is that if blizzard would learn from D2 on itemization it would make WoW so much better. I am talking about the variety of great items available in D2 compared to the single set items in WoW that everyone and their dog has now. Ok now to the point.

Get to the point:
When I found out that warhammer was finally out I searched for game play videos on you tube and it's hard for me to judge it. Graphics wise it beats WoW hands down, but it's hard to judge gameplay from watching a video. Before you flame me and tell me to just buy it and find out for your self, I am a student and have a part time job and don't like wasting my hard earned money like I did with Age of Conan. So if anyone is has some advice I will appreciate it, thanks.

In my opinion, it's fun from time to time, but it's not like with wow that you was excited to play the game ALL THE TIME.

I find it fun from time to time and booring sometimes.

yea wow by far was the most fun to play all the time, this game doesnt get me exicted to play like with wow it was like 24/7 i wanted to play this game is dull at times

ive been having a blast with warhammer
unlike some games where the devs concentrate on the start, warhammer really starts to shine after you've gotten into it a bit...as you lvl up RvR battle gets more complex and on a greater scale as do the public quests etc.
as far as gear goes, it seems that there is a decent variety of drops/rewards but only time will tell regarding end-game
the question you must ask: if it is on par with the 4 year old wow right now how cool could it be in the future?
