Hi

I'm going to buy this game next week so i read quite alot about it, and now i have the well known problem with deciding which class to pick.
If i'd go Dest i'd play a Black Orc, but ! a friend of mine is Order so i will need to play there ( not a big problem ).

So these are the classes which seem interesting :

Engineer
Witch Hunter
White Lion

I would like a character who can fight on his own, but also be valueable for the group.
So, from your experiance, which class would you recommend ?
I tend to the Witch Hunter because of the idea of having a gun and a sword. But i think there must be tons of them... is that true ?

in my opinion and as far as ive seen, engenier is only usable for rvr and conquering castles etc.. wich i think is a great part of the game.
Wichhunter is like a "caster killer" he will get the healers in the battle but he will die wit them. However he is a high dmg dps, that can combine mele attaks, this char is really useful in both pvp and pve and also byurself ofc. And finally the white lion, of whom i cant speak so much about xD but as far as ive seen is really powerful by himself, as well as it can do great dmg in pvp.
I hope this helps u to choose, if those were my options, id try the ranger dps engenier, wich will be amazing in rvr

im still in tier 2 but it seems that order is lacking tanking chars..

Likewise with destruction. I was playing some T1 scenarios with my Magus and there were 3 chosen in game, all 3 were using great weapons and the two that were above level 10 didn't use guard, fucking useless.

ive been playing a archmage for about 2 days now, very fun, in rvr i just heal and cast, they have spells that do dmg over time/ constant dmg if u focus on 1 hero, so they are good for death blows when u have heros that are at low health ,

same thing goes for the heals, it heals over time too so yea

rank 8 atm so other people prolly have more exp

I'd say engineer.. there's not many of them and I think they're soooo cool.

The only problem is the engineer starts to really excel in the 20's, While their single target tree and damage is horrible they can be pretty devastating.

Ive played a witch hunter up to rank 6 or 7 in open beta, they are a fun class. Not much more i can say since i havent played extensively

The good white lions ive seen can deal out some massive damage, Other than that i havent played them

I agree with Reyone about the classes
