i play WoW, wow forums are just huge trails of WoW and WAR fanbois trolling each other, im ISO an unbiased review of war, or a comparison to wow.

so far what ive heard:
+ Solid player models [not being able to run through people] allow for more viable diversity in PvP (Tanks are useful in PvP)
- some pvp is dominated by range dps / healers, who can sit behind tanks and not die
-Some bugs (as to be expected in a new game)
+more pvp focused.

I also had another question: are there any 'challenging' PvE occurances in WAR that require guilds to become stronger to overcome (basically does WAR have equivalent of WoW Raids?)

War is hard pvp focused. There is rly less pve as i know, when u get your lvl 40 u have to focus on pvp, level your pvp rank to get better gear to improve your char.
The pvp is rly good balanced. as i know there is no overpowered class.
You need for sure a good guild to hold a keep in your hands, and be able to defend it with your guild mates. in the keep u also have an pvp gear mercant and other mercants.
In the last days i havent seen rly big bugs, the team of war is rly good working on fixing everything.
War has rly nice world wich would u make rly fun. u have pve if u want, but to become one of the best geared u need the pvp! raiding the opponents town with high pvp rank will give you better gear...

Atm I'm only rank 5, DoK. Thanks to Kyrania I had a chance to try this game. It was worth it

I'm 90% sure I'll buy retail version.

Already seen a guild called WoWhammer

I hope they won't play the final version.

This is the first MMO to ever get me hooked that pretty much says my opinion about it.
