did you used to play wow?

what were your first impressions of the game? (like first things you thought of as soon as you got into the game)

whats the worst and best things about the game in your opinion?

First impression was "this is exactly like WoW" xD

Then I stopped because unlike WoW, my older computer can't handle the game, was getting like 2 FPS

the game is for sure not as wow.

Pvp in wow is boring..
warhammer is a pvp based game (same producers as of "dark age of camelot" which also have been a wonderful pvp/rvr game, for me it was the best game ever!)
i see in warhammer a rly good game, u dont need to play hardcore pve/grinding/farming items ... but i am not sure how it will be in WAR for longtime players, i hope there will be always enough improves and expansions to hold the players in the pvp and in the game!

The only way in which this game is like WoW is that you swing weapons, and it has a similar UI which was in now way unique to WoW in the first place. People just associate things with WoW because they played it for so long, and/or it was their only MMO that was played with any seriousness.

Warhammer is NOT WoW at all, PVP in warhammer is fun, there is no instant kills and ganking. World PvP actually exists and tanks are viable in PvP. I've been playing for months now (closed beta) and the best thing about the game is the fact that every class is good. While some classes are inevitably better in some ways, on the overall landscape of things there is no class that is just useless, everyoe has a chance to impact the battle.

Worst thing is that if you don't like PvP its not for you, there is PvE and plenty of it but its not hardcore pve, you need to pvp to get anywhere in WAR.

oh and yes, I used to play WoW, (since december 2004 @ release), and I just recently quit WoW entirely, and am looking forward to playing WAR, at the very least untill WOTLK comes out.

warhammer alliance has a lot of good input on it if you need more info, since mythic doesn't use its own system of boards.

I used to play WoW but I don't really like grinding that much.

Not really sure what my first impression was.

The best things about the game is the RvR and PQ's. I like to achieve something and I really liked the pvp as a level up, taking keeps is also fun.
I haven't got the chance on the cities but I've heard it was fun from an elder tester.

I have been playing the game since june and I now knows which char that will be my main.

Yes, i used to play wow.

i first rolled a dwarf engineer, Right from the i started fighting. Exlposions everwhere.
At first i was disapointed in the graphics, but as you turn them up they are pretty decent.


Best: The RvR battles are a blast, the game is much more complex i think than wow, Party Quests (Great), Trying to capture Keeps is a BLAST!, Cant wait to attach a major city, Story, Achievements, Tome of Knowledge

Worst: Seems like it need 1 more layer of textures, The infamous "Target is not attackable"


Although ive only been in tier 1 stuff, i have barely experienced the game. there is much more to explore.

i playedwow moving to WH!

WoW got nearly same graphic as WAR, but WAR is darker and more ''dark fantasy''

And WAR is faster than WOW

WAR got better story of the world than WoW

In WAR you got some best things from Guild Wars, like team duelling on arenas.
