Hey, I used to play WoW and quit like 4 months ago

i was looking into getting warhammer since it seemed to be much more PvP focused than WoW

but what im wondering is, is the combat good enough? I mean in the videos i saw it looked really zerg-ish in the battlegrounds, and really slow paced. I wanted to roll a caster, and it seemed like all the videos I watched they just stood still spamming spells..

was I just watching noobs or is the combat really bad?

I have found that 95% of the video's that came out so far are "noobs". There are a few good ones, but for the most part, the videos that are seen all over are poor representations of the game overall. It goes fast enough to feel immersed, and it is "zergish" but not in the typical wow sense, yes by WoW terms it is a zerg, but in Warhammer you die much slower, there are no rogue type classes one shotting you and things of that nature, it takes a bit to die when fighting even leveled people.

I mean, just go watch a n00b Warcraft pvp video and it makes the game look really boring too, but if u watch a pro playing... it looks awesome

the pvp is a blast!, ive only experienced a few RvR battles since im still in tier 1 ( rank 8 Engineer).

The pvp is nice...
Got now Rank11 and lvled up to 12 with my Zelot, now i cant join Tier1 Bg anymore
Well ill test another char i think.
Even if i am long time in the closed beta, there is always enough to test around

Haven't tried the PvP in WAR yet, but I did play DAOC for years, and that had the best PvP I've ever experienced.
