WoW is 5 years old...
of course all u nubs are going to like WAR better, its been out for like a month and a half
i played WAR and it needs some work, its like WoW when it first came out, a little buggy and glitchy
the nps look robotic when they walk and shit, if u cant agree then u are an idiot, and if u say its perfect how it is your a moron

i say give WAR about 6 months through 1 year and itll be worth devoting over 150$ a year to
as for WoW... its not really to bad of a game, everyone acts like it blows so bad and really it doesnt, just because another game may be better, doesnt mean WoW sux
just because Halo 3 came out doesnt make Halo 2 boring and gay right? ok then.
but yes to play WoW you will need to devote time to it, but you idiots think WAR is gonna be fast pace your stupid, ANY MMO needs devoted time.
u want a fun fast pace game go back to D2. ALL MMOs are slow no matter what u say.
with that said it depends on the player, 5 years old and still 10 million people strong, or 1 month old and needs alot of work?

Actually, when WoW was released you couldn't log onto the servers for 2 weeks straight.

tried Warhammer in hopes to find something new and fun.

3 weeks later -- Added another month to my WoW subscription. I'll admit WoTLK was a little bit of a let down but not nearly as much of a let down as WAR for me atleast. I've had more fun playing Gears of War 2 and Fallout 3 than either of these games honestly. And neither take up as much time=(

Problem with wotlk, it's not as big of a change to the whole game as burning crusade was. You will still be doing the same thing in burning crusade the minute you hit level 80, arenas and raids. And it has become obvious in the past few years that blizzard cannot balance both the pvp and pve aspects of the game for every class which makes the competitive nature of arenas frustrating as hell depending on your class.
In all honesty though, I picked up warhammer and my experience in this game hasn't been that good. Given that I am only level 20, it is fairly repetitive to level. The quest layout is very bad and bgs (scenerios) give better exp anyways.
Basically you would be doing a battleground from level 1 to 40 as far as I can see. If you didn't like grinding honor in wow, you probably won't like leveling in warhammer. Although, leveling through pvp is a great idea, it's just pretty broken right now since you can go afk and abuse the system just like in wow.

I probably wouldn't recommend either of these games to anyone unless you have some friends to play with.
