haha yeah i agree, its not solved yet that i know of but im doing my best im going to restart here in a min and test it out.

soo i updated my nvidia card how would i update my drivers for my sound card? and what would my sound card be?

Most likely integrated sound card - you can probably get the drivers from your laptop manufacturer's site.

On another note, however, it's doubtful that outdated sound drivers are the cause of your problems..

Here are some potential tips:

1. install XP if you are running Vista
2. make sure there aren't any processes hogging cpu bandwidth (CTRL + SHIFT + ESC, go to processes and show all processes, sort by CPU)
3. make sure that your settings aren't cranked up too high. Your video card should definitely be capable of running this game at playable fps.
4. stay out of morkaine's temple (just kidding)

Your graphics card is missing some serious horsepower. Even if you update the drivers, you will have to turn down the graphics to "max framerate" to become playable.

without the game up im only using 2% cpu...i have my graphics set at fps and i changed my graphics card to proformance and not quality i find it hard to belive that a year 1/2 old comp would have a graphics card that doesnt work good enough to play this game. i am running vista but i dont really want to buy windows xp...

well im going to update to vista sp1 and see if that helps.

yeah. you shouldnt be having any problems, my pc is 2years old and runs fine, try installing windows xp (you dont have 2buy it >_> pm me for info) my friend seems to be having the same prob on his laptop and hes running vista too.

pmd but how do i get it for free...and if its free is it the same thing as the real thing and can i get updates for it...this shit is really pissing me off.

yeah its same as the real thing (although as i mentioned in the pm i would recommend installing the Windows xp gamer edition, alongside your windows vista, so you can just switch between the 2 when you wanna play warhammer (by restarting pc- you get an option of which os to run when you startup everytime)
