I used to play it a little under a year ago. I quit for WoW only because not enough people played and I despise playing any online game alone; and the friend that got me into the game quit.

I only got to like level 13, because I don't do quests etc. alone.

I really liked this game during the time I played, and I like the Warhammer lore. How is the community base now?

Yeah, I'd say it's fairly popular since implementing endless trial accounts. you can check the populations when you choose a server.. think there's only 4 now, two of which have a medium population for both factions. of course with an endless free account certain restrictions are imposed, such as you can only stay in nordland/norsca, reach max lvl of 10, cant send mail, cant receive purple/gold pq bags, some other crap im not sure of. On a side note, there's a been a dungeon added in nordland/norsca so on any given night it's extremely easy to find groups whether for pvm, rvr, scenarios whatever.

Hmm. I might try it out again later then.

Thank you.

forgot to mention that's only tier1 (im sure you know), but if your account has been inactive for some time it's probably eligible for 10 free days (you have to enter a cc # for this, but you aren't charged until the 10 days are up.. so don't forget to cancel the subscription). Anywho, maybe check their forums for more input. www.warhammeronline.com

I am on the 10 free days. I may or may not continue subscribing.

No offense, but I am used to WoW.. 650k Subs is nothing compared to WoW 11million.

Then again, that's 4 servers compared to 30+.

Warhammer is abetter game, just not enough players. There are a lot in beginners content now, but what it like middle - end game?

Oh. and another thing.

Are the players dicks like on WoW and GW?

On both of those game, people don't want anything to do with you unless you are uber pro or uber noob. If you're somewhere in the middle, You're an outcast. Is WAR like that? I never got far when I first played. -_-

kinda difficult comparing to wow based on subscriptions alone, the end raiding of wow seems desirable, then again there are fanboys wholl praise the game for no particular reason. the end game in warhammer was lacking, but my opinion was formed before the advent of land of the dead which adds more content.

i've had most fun playing tier1 & pking order in tier2/3. the pvp/rvr makes things worthwhile since you can just log in, queue a scenario, or run 20 yards to an open rvr area destroy foes, siege keeps, quickly earn influence, and receive rewards from the rally master.

player community in warhammer is no exception, it's bad at times, but if you have skill mashing buttons and aren't a dipshit, shouldn't be a problem joining a guild.
