At lvl 28 playing through tutorial. So far EVERY other character I have passed by is named "xcjkhsdfyhsnl" or some other randsom string of characters and is a sorc. I have played maybe 5+ hrs and dont think Ive seen a real player yet and a non sorc lol. I know im still going through the New Player Experience but that is very alarming to me if the only new players I see in what should be full of new players, be nothing but bots. I just feel like when I start other MMOs for the first time theres actual new players running around starter zones everywhere...and there’s this rich of excitement starting a new journey…that’s very lacking here from what I’ve experienced on my first login. I really want to like this game but damn not a strong start (Server US WEST-Rohendel)

And yes I know I cant type til lvl 30... Its the character names and how they respond (or dont at all) that reveals that theyre bots

Does it get better? Am I missing something? Or is this the reality of Lost Ark and double down and get used to it

the bot problem used to be wayyy worse. yes there are bots but AGS is constantly banning them. the higher tiers you go, the less of them you see

I think it could be uncared for alts also. I'm on the same server as you and just started the game a week ago. I do notice a lot of "zcxvfsdg" chars. However from what i've gathered is they are cracking down pretty hard on an exploitation.
