Just saw one. Between ban waves and scammers, is it really worth buying LA gold?

didn't they verify that the "ban wave" was related to pre-orders being duped/returned after activation and said pre-order items were sold to other players?
this caused a wave of bans on the sellers and the buyers, but the bans on buyers is on hold for now from what i read on their forums since it was targeting innocent players.

is there any verified cases of people being banned for buying gold so far?

Didn't know about the pre-order abuse. Just assumed it was for gold buying because it's so blatant in /area chat

the scammer was a buyer not a seller..
