That's because other sellers would go down by 1%, then the first discounts by 2% and so on. Maximum intransparency. If you collect prices from several sellers, then you'll see they have different prices for the same servers. Enough people won't take their time to actually look for the cheapest seller, so sellers profit from their laziness
