More like there was a previous bug where people were "unintentionally" duping platinum, gold pack and Twitch drop contents and selling them in the auction house.
If you were on the receiving end of one of those duped items it could explain why you got hit with the ban hammer.

nope. Still havnt received any email back from them in over 2 days (tho i think thats good? since other people who got banned got copypastas in a few hours)

2 of my other friends got banned buying gold, I have not been banned. They have been purchasing off sites and the support has not gotten back to them
