100% Burning Crusade being in a top 100 guild pushing Illidan if you couldn't afford mats and couldn't buy them from a guild supplier at fractions of market value you were benched or removed from the guild. Everyone was buying gold, and guess what? You bought it on another account and funneled it through the market to save your progression account. WoW has always been pay to win people just never wanted to admit it or just kept their blinders on.

This continued for every expansion after that as well obviously lol.

Yeah I remember getting into it with the guild leader because it didn't sit right with me.

Our guild leader may have lead us to server first titles, and always kept us #1 on server, but damn if he wasn't a doucher.

Yup. That this is the standard for maximizing raids. If you didn't flask/pre-pot your big dps cooldowns you were a slacker, and cya.
