It is absolutely going onto some of their accounts.

I know some are buying with $$ then selling for fg, then converting fg to money (arbitrage) and only middle-manning the transaction, but again, some are 100% touching the gold themselves.

Also, no bans here so highly unlikely they are using 3rd party direct.

False, most are gold sellers themselves and some probably run them in-game spam bots too, if you look at the more popular FT posts here with sellers that have like over 300k fg and search up some of the their recent posts you’ll see that they’re trading large amounts of gold and high-demand items across a lot of servers in various different games like PoE, WoW, Lost Ark, D2 and more.

If that’s not a red flag that they’re running a RMT business themselves then good luck to ya’ll. They’re simply using fg as a flexible cross-game currency to buy and sell to meet their customer’s demands on own their sites/platforms.

The downside is that staff have no way to deal with that unless they slip-up and advertise their own sites or is caught selling fg/conducting rmt via jsp.

So all I gotta say is trading gold here is never 100% safe since it’s considered a ToS violation on most games and you do so at your own risk, unlike D2 which has been pretty lax towards us.

Agreed. First started seeing this trend myself in POE a few years back.

When D2R came around I posted that there was serious arbitrage going on, and JSP was basically a large supply source for many RMT sites since they could buy, say HR's with FG, and sell solid profit $$$ (6k fg for Jah, turn around and sell for $250), rinse and repeat. JSP is definitely a source for RMT sites supply, as well as an offloading place for them, just depends on the game and prices which direction it goes (like Lost Ark vs D2R for example).

To add to that, if customers on their platform require let’s say WoW gold they can simply purchase WoW gold with the fg that they’ve gained from selling gold on different games so-forth.

Again, this is very difficult for staff here to deal with because they’re not actually breaking our rules here by doing that, they’re not selling fg, discussing rmt or advertising their sites.

Personally I’m quite concerned this trend too as this isn’t quite healthy for our site.

Unfortunately it is really turning JSP much more into "RMT" than it used to be, at least in my opinion.

Two players trading here is one thing, but shops unloading unlimited supply is different (again just my opinion but I think you agree).

The sellers used to just be much more discrete lol. There's a guy selling on this sf that I spent 49kfg with back in the day on wow (when that was a lot, got 1m igg + swift spectral for perspective, the mount alone is prob worth 2x that lol). Didn't know he was a "shop" at the time, but I am well aware of it now lol.

Tbh we shouldn’t really be discussing this to inspire more people to join the fray but I think there needs to be more control over this before more users get screwed over at the benefit of gold farmers.

Me neither, this shit is real but.

Best to leave matters like these in the hands of staff though, it is very difficult to deal with but I’m sure if staff here catch onto any strong evidence of users abusing this site for monetary gains they will take action.
