Gold isn't that difficult to obtain if you focus on getting to T3 content and make alts + do dailies etc. But the game is still fairly new so available gold in the game is still low.

As people hit cap, demand for gold will continue to rise for a while I bet.

Massive majority of players aren't even 50 yet so haven't needed to even think about gold.

I did next to no research on this game before I played, but did watch 1 video from someone on KR and pretty sure I saw a bunch of (legit) stuff for 400k in AH, indicating to me that inflation will be massive.
