Hi im new to d3. whats the best class for first playthrough? and is it like WoW that i can change my skills/talents quite freely? or i need to be careful how i build my char

i would suggest Barb, Monk or Crusader just for the fact that they are all 30% tougher than the spell casters, skills can be changed at will and its pretty easy to play just about any way until end game content.

don't stress any certain build well leveling up and just try to enjoy the game for what it is.

You can change all skills and runes at all times so you have nothing to worry about in that regard.

I add my voice to the barb. It is an all time favorite and fairly easy, DH are also good. For your first play through really pick whatever you would like playing all classes do well at the start.

When you start just make sure you, do the challenge rift and use the mats provided from the challenge rift to level your character if you dont get powerleveled. Just google season start guide for the class you want to play. The challenge rift provides mats that give u a huge power spike in the beginning.
