Alright so i completed a great rift lvl 70 solo on my main character and I decided to make a alt character and I can not get loot on my alt because its "shared" with my main?? how am i supposed to gear him up if i can only get loot from t13+ rifts?? can I delete my main. kinda bs how this is.

you mean that you want to get the journey boxes for the set? that is only once per season.
anyway if you want to casual gear your alt the best way is

get max shard with your main and gamble from kadala
use kanai cube in order to upgrade rare items into legendary you need on your alt
pretty much done
