What would you recommend to someone who hasn't played since right when RoS released.

check the leaderboards for whatever class you want to play and just use that.

You will see that everyone is using the same build/items etc as there is only one viable build per class.


Trolls (durr/atilla) will come telling you to make some shitty meme build - don't do it. There's a reason why everyone is using the same build.

All of the wizards seem to be mentor builds

such a simple fucking fix. Nerf the fucking sets so people aren't forced to use w.e skill they buff, and add more interesting legendaries. LET THE PEOPLE USE THEIR BRAIN AND MAKE UNIQUE BUILDS!
