Just a public service announcement for those that may find this before reset and had not seen the changes:

So, while I was testing out a few methods for fast solo progress 1-70 on a fresh season toon, I found one of them lil rainbow bitches...
Imagine my woeful half-handed delight when as a level 9 character I got over 5 imperials of each category, 25 death breaths, 20 souls and about 5 full inventories of yellows and blues @ my clvl, and 100k gold.

lvl 9...

meaning find any wep with a soc in it and you're instantly cutting the leveling process in half or better.

So I imagine when season goes live finding a rainbow gob and then kill combo leveling will be the most powerful way to level once again.
Delight becomes anxiety at the thought of not finding one. I hate relying heavily on RNG, I like repeatable and dependable results wherever possible. Hurts my thin skinned heart that I prob wont find one early.
They are pretty rare (5% of gobs) and it's unreliable to just "find one and win" so I guess keep an eye on forums while leveling and see if someone sells a slot at a rainbow kill early. *grumble grumble..sorta excited..grumble*
