So the reason trade worked on D3 Vanilla was because even though some items were hard to find, players were able to collect many slightly worse items, sell them for gold and buy said hard to find item. It allowed people to counter-balance the RnG factor by giving them an additional way to obtain the item with 100% guaranteed success over time.


Primal ancient items are going to be these mega rare items that are literally the difference between being rank 1 on the leaderboard or rank 200+. The weapons are going to be insanely OP. And because the game has no trade, you could play 5000000000 hours with zero guarantee that you will ever find the specific Primal Ancient item that you need to complete a build.

Instead of fixing the current items, they just add another layer of rng

i love the 500% bonus for the primal from LoN set

i like the primal ancient...this will be funny to farm
