i get 250 fps consistantly in the lobby .. till i enter game .. then it drops to 60 or less.

i used to have issues with cpu spikes, but i dont think that is your situation. do you have programs in the background?

nope cpu is at 9% its d3 i dont think its right im 250 fps in the lobby in game im 60 - 80

that's pretty standard I think, just post on the bnet forums or search them see if anyone else has issues.

LAst time there was a big content patch it was buggy as fuck and killed performance

turn vsync off

games badly programmed not optimized for stronger hardware even 1080s getting bad frames.

change your game to 32 bit. you might be running it in the 64 bit client check in your launcher settings.
