I'll just give you the straight up info and you have 24 hours to practice before it's live on the new season.
Thanks to our new fellow Dark Tristram, we got ourselves some new possible runs. I've been leveling a character on my PS4 on Hardcore and was amazed to see how much EXP Dark Tristram gives. Let's skip all bullshit and get straight to the leveling facts.
New Game (Level 1 Character - Adventure Mode - Normal/Hard Difficulty)
Enter Dark Tristram
Level 1 - Kill all the dense enemies (try to get streaks of 25-50+ enemies killed between each pack. There is nothing else here except killing a few monsters and finding your way to Level 2.
Level 2 - Here is a Dark Passage that you must IGNORE (if you are lacking gear drops you can go inside here to pick up some chests; low chance for resplendent).
Otherwise same as previously. IGNORE BUTCHER!!! Just keep killing and get to level 3.
Level 3 - Here you want to find Leoric's Tomb. You go inside and keep a massacre streak up for 100+ skeleton kills (don't need to kill Leoric. Just make sure you get a 101+ enemy kill streak and then run away from the Tomb. You should get about 75% of an entire level JUST for the BONUS chain of 2.75x/3x Exp multiplier.
After this you do the same; keep killing and find your way to level 4.
Level 4 - There is always a chest here. It CAN be a resplendent chest but most likely it's just a regular chest. Otherwise just keep killing and get your way to level 5.
Level 5 - Find the Magic Rock (A LOT OF GEMS WILL DROP!). You can ignore enemies here unless there is a purple boss that is easy to kill. Enemies are tougher and slower to kill (less density as well). Leave the game after Magic Rock and repeat.
After your first game you should be level 12 already (solo on HARD). If you are in a party you should be getting a lot more exp! If you can find a full party to abuse this with you are so lucky... I was practicing this with a friend today as well just to verify it works before season restart tomorrow.
Well, I was going to make a YouTube video that would probably go viral, but I'm too lazy? Maybe I'll make it later today and give a visual guidance as well as this text. However, the text should be enough to explain what to do. Just kill a lot of enemies for good kill streaks (2x-3x multipliers are very nice!).
I'm looking for 2 people to play with me and my friend tomorrow (we practiced this already and hopefully you have read the thread and maybe tested it once). And want to level efficently at season start 17:00 CET (Europe Server). Please PM me if you want to join in on this. Would be nice to get a full party to abuse our way to level 70 fastest possible at launch. PS. Rifts are absolutely nowhere near as good as this. I would say it takes about 50% longer to get to level 70 in regular Rifts. Dark Tristram enemies scale to your level so they still give insane experiences even at level 40+.
I hope you have fun with this... Maybe it will give you an edge. I've practiced this a lot the entire day so I'm certain this is the most efficient way to level up. If you get bad gear drops you can craft or buy from the vendors in town. Mainly needing DPS for this to work. 3 people can buy weapons in town while the 4th is running to Dark Tristram enterance.
