So I used to play D3 before the expansion piece came out. I had a bunch of lvl 60 characters with good gear then sold it all on the Auction House before that went away.

Now that I have started dipping into D3 again I do not have the expansion yet. How do I go about getting the better gear again? Do I need the expansion for it to really be worth playing?

I just came back lol I can get the expansion. Is it just grinding levels for gear? My lvl 60s are empty so I am trying to figure out how to gear them to grind for 70 gear.

Or is there trading available like what was on the Auction house

No trade.. They remuv trade cus is unfare 2 ppl who r self fund. All item bind 2 u and drop r toon specific.. So if u pley mage onle mage item drop.

Gotcha. So I'm guessing the drop rate has gone up if all the good gear is based on drops only.

If there is no trading how do ppl trade these legacy items?

trading is legacy so legacy items can be traded to answer your question.

Ye ppl trade legacy item but is onle 4 collectors ( role pleyers). If u thnk the d3 comunite is small then the legacy colector is almust none

Go play path of exile, its free and you can trade

The items that were tradable before are still tradeable. They are all level 60 items though, and are a lot worse then the level 70 items... especially now that there's ancient level 70 items.
