Haven't played this game since 2013 or so. Quit before RMAH closed and don't have the expansion (yet, gonna buy soon)


Where the fuck do I even start lmao. Not sure which class is best concerning PvE, most fun for PvE etc.. or just a quick run-down as I've completely forgot everything about this game.

All class are good now

And for your first season char if u reach lvl 70 u get bag with 2 pieces from Sets what u use

U can get 3x bags with 2 Set items.but u have to kill inzual T2 and solo grift 20

Game is a joke now

No need to worry about what is best or how to play.

All difficulty is scale-able
All classes are capable of doing decent GR but only 1 class every season fills the role of group dmg.

Items are easy to find. Sets are easy to complete. 99% of all brown items are completely useless. The game has 3 stages at the start of each season:

1.) Rush to 70
2.) Get your free 6 piece set handout from Blizzard
3.) Farm GRs until the end of the season to ensure your augment gems in your gear slots are higher than those around you on the leaderboards.

Stage 1 takes 3 hours
Stage 2 takes 5 minutes
Stage 3 takes 300-800 hours to be competitve

My advice is to pick a class u like and dont take the free 6 piece set that blizzard gives out. It cuts about 20-30 hours out of the longevity of a season. Instead of being excited about brown item upgrades you will immediately become uninterested in all drops that arent weapons/rings or greens

Stage 1 actually takes 10min if you want some1 to powerlevel you. People are doing it for free now adays. Just post "need plvl please, just starting" in trading thread you'll get someone in no time.

I wouldn't start this game again if I were you. I did and now I'm about to quit (after 3 weeks?)

Game is just stupid, since Blizz pretty much gave up on developing this game any further.

No other composition can beat grift 100+ other than wiz/wd/barb/monk..
Firebug not even getting hotfixed, blizz pretty much said, "we are too lazy right now so we'll let you wizards exploit the bug until season end, even than who knows, we might leave it in there just for fun".
No class is designed to beat grift 100+ solo...so than why even make grift 100?

On a last note, I hope blizz patches the tornado bug..shit is the only reason why even 4men grift comp is able to beat such a high level grift..get yo tornado stuck at a corner and go afk..

Don't even know why anyone even plays this game..even D2 has more reasons to play than this junk piece of shit game LOL

and season isn't even slightest reason to play this game...it's practically the same shit as non-season lol..same with hardcore..why even play hardcore with no pk?

I recommend messing around with the game and getting a feel for it for the next month, then start up a seasonal/ladder character, which will start late July.

Something to be aware of with the classes is how they fit into greater rift groups. For example, the crusader (character you get once you get the expansion), wasn't common in groups so people only wanted to play with wiz, DH, barb, and WD. However, the next patch/season the WD's abilities are going to get nerfed, so they won't help damage stacking in grifts, so we're not sure yet what the greater rift group meta is going to be yet.
