I'm close to reaching the minimal firebird's set (just set items, no kanai cube stuff) after coming back to the game a week ago and I've done research on this build but idk how it works.
To clarify:
1. How does the firebird's bug work and how do you "set it up"?
2. Are speed runs defined as bounty runs where you aim to do them as quickly as possible?
3. Are rifts/Grifts more efficient than bounty runs for finding set items?
4. How do you optimally use firebird's to farm? I saw someone teleporting between mobs and not fully killing them at once. Is it good for speed/bounty, grift/rift, or both?
5. The DMO set dungeon is damn impossible. I have ~400k dmg ~22 million toughness but I can't even get close to killing 297 assuming I can even finish the other 2 objectives. How should I do it/when can I do it? If I get other full sets can I just do those set dungeons instead?

1. Burn 2/3 mobs from a blue pack with disintegrate in archon form, then skip them. Then don't burn any other elites. This means only use the "1" key in archon, and only every 3 seconds.
2. Speed runs are greater rifts, done at a level you can run them quickly. This gives the most XP in the game.
3. Grifts are probably 10 times better then bounties for finding items.
4. Firebirds isn't good for torment farming
5. All set dungeons are easy. Try another set if you are having trouble with the current one.

how can u say firebird isnt good for torment farming?

So if you use disintegrate in archon form again you lose the stacks? What does burning 2/3 of a blue pack achieve? Is it to get 100, or any other number, of stacks? Is the only point of doing bounties for plans?

there are certain legendaries that can only drop from bounty caches. that and the crafting mats you get from them.

not sure on this "firebird's bug" topic. but what i do know is, to efficiently farm grifts you ignite white packs until you find an elite pack, then sit on it until it dies. everything previously ignited including the elite takes 3000% more dmg or something like that. so when i was farming 90s in 7 minutes, that is what my group did. i played a pull monk.

you could just google them, youtube, diablofans website etc.

what about in 4 player groups? I see wizards in 4 player groups using tal's + aughild's but in solo (all of this I saw on the leaderboards) I only see firebird's/vyr's
