I'd say go with source second and jewellery would be the last imo because u are aiming for trifecta rings /ammy on wizard.. Ammy: ele%/chc/chd, rings: rdr / chc /ad/chd /atk spd, depending on wiz type.. Hence going ancient doesn't really get much benefit.. You're far better off going ancient weapon then source because it'll net u the most damage right away

Weapon - Off hand - Top/Bottom (Helms/boots/etc are less likely to have both main stat and secondary stat, so the ancient boost is most beneficial on these two pieces). All other armor, jewelry.

Shoulders/Chest/Belt/Pants/Boots/Bracers only receive 150 main stat boost, whereas Helm/Gloves receive 250. Ancient attributes aside, consider the benefits of receiving better CD/CC/IAS/ELE%/Skill% on items like Gloves/Amulet/Ring/Offhand/Bracers/Helm/Belt(Witching Hour). If you have a compass rose with only CC/socket or CD/socket, or even CC/CD/Socket, then you can always reforge to get ancient, plus get more IAS/CDR/AD in the process. There's also a lot of room for improvement if your legendary attribute is low on something like your Helm/Gloves/Bracers.

Weapon > Jewelry/Offhand > Gloves/Helm/Bracers/Belt(Witching Hour) > Other
