They did nerf the health of grift mobs in lvl 70 and higher. They also gave out more damage mitigation this patch and last. With caldesians ancient augmentaction the player can be put out wayyy more damage. Also orange text and Legendary Gems now multiply your overall damage output.

So, they did everything you asked for already.
