If we compare the forum sections, it's d3 that's dead ;)
Sure d2 is filled with hacks, bots and spammers but it's definitely alive.

Playing the D2 ladder back in the day was a lot of fun but now the game is so boring and the graphics are complete shit :rofl:
The last few times I came back to D2 I only played for a few months uninstalled again.
D3 IMO is much more fun to play....yeah there is some things in D3 that is retarded like the pvp and not being able to have separate partys but the game is going in the right direction.

Yah I like how they remove trade pvp 4 us cus I dun like tlk 2 ppl rofl I prefer single play!!! And since drop r toon specific is not confuse like other apps
