Hey I've been gone a long time... Don't know if I want to play d2 again... Or d3 is it worth it and I wonder if my d2 accounts are active after forever....

D2 accounts expire after 60 or 90 days now. All your stuff would be gone.

D3 is great but if you played D2 for the PVP it's still not working properly. With that being said the PVE is great in D3. Lots of farming and you can play solo or in public games.

1) wrong. they expire, but they will be still there, if noone created an account with the same name.

2) d3 sucks in all points, no pvp, no endgame, no longtime motivation, no crafting, no community events, no char individualisation, no skill tree, no trading and so on


if you want some fun:
- start diablo2 and play selffound (alone or with friends)
- play path of exile (its the real diablo3, and there work some old diablo2 developers in the PoE team ;) )

Stupid counterpoint. Why would it matter if the character you once owned is not playable anymore.

D3 endgame is pushing greater rifts / reaching the ladder.

Why post about PoE if he asked about D3?
