i just started playing yesterday... i dont know how to stat my characters in this new game.. D2 was so much easier.. if someone has time to help in game that would be great.

first thing you'll want to do is brush up on the popular 2.4 builds this season, figure out which build youll want to aim for and keep an eye out for the corresponding sets items and legendaries. (icy veins is a popular website) theres a few different ways of getting geared, firstly youll want to start running rifts or bounties. i recommend rifts cause its easier to piggyback and get blood shards and a few legs (common abbreviation of legendary) to drop. blood shards can be turned in for random rare/legs at a vendor in each act. i forget her name but its a woman in a blue/black cloak. once you can solo bounties in torment 1 i recommend farming them until you get a ring of royal grandeur from the act 1 bounty cache. its a key piece to many builds and is good to have even if you just cube it, adds a bit of ease to finding all the gear you may need. the kaina's cube is another key feature to building correctly, you can extract legendary powers to use while not having the item equipped but destroys the item to permanently store the power. you may have one armor, one weapon, and one ring/amulet cube power active at a time. once you get moderately geared by running rifts youll eventually need to run greater rifts to find gems and then level the ones you need for your build.

later on youll worry about things like rolling stats, rerolling legs to get ancients, adding stats to gear with max level gems

if you have the ros expansion and want to start a seasonal character ill help you level one to 70 and unlock the cube for you
