Make sure you have max discipline on every piece that can roll it including you weapon. Yangs recurve and deadmans legacy are a must. Fire % dmg with full aresnal mutlishot. Use the passive that gives you rocket dmg, so the one that's hits enemies at 100% health for more dps to combo nicely with dead mana legacy

Most likely cube a dawn and the helm that allows you reduces venge cool down, have 35-37% cool down reduction on your gear and maxed cdr with paragon points, this allows you to Always have vengeance going which is crucial with seeth passive so you hardly ever run out of hatred.

Focus and restraint are also pretty key to maximize dps, always make sure to be rotating in a generator in between your multishots to always keep up both bonuses from f and r

Gems go with a bane of the trapped and the passive that slows enemies, also zeis stone of vengeance also with he passive that gives you more dps from far away, make sure not to be up in ppls faces when your spam mind mutlishot or you lose a lot of dmg. Taeguk is a good final gem it will boost your dps and survival since you already should be using evasive fire pretty often to keep up the focus and restraint buff

That's a good start, obviously an ancient yangs will help a lot and high crit and cd as with almost any dh build. Gl

Most definitely the best answer I have seen on this subforum. I'm gonna definitely try some of this. If you look on my d3 profile http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Grandpa-1710/hero/71800679 I have most of the required gear. This is my first time playing a dh and I really like it so far. So any and all tips help

the most important upgrade is ancient Yang to push high Grifts.

I suggest you get act 1-5 cache and reroll the yang until you get ancient yang (reforge legendary 5 x each mat + 50x forgotten soul)

You have a good start to the gear. Next step is upgrading your armor gems to flawless royal.

Start running bounties for mats to reroll your gear to ancient.

For bow and quiver use the upgrade rare recipe for more chances at ancient. Spend shards on armor.
