Ive read that wizards are not that great, should I make a different character maybe?

naw man most people dont play but a few hours so i wouldnt waste any time trying to make a new toon.

do it for the wdoc

new season release in about 3 weeks, so i'd suggest try witch doc as they're really fun and have quite a few of viable build varieties

or do whatever you can get fun out of from

3 weeks should be more than enough before you get bored of d3, until new season hits

Just play whatever you like. Don't join the bandwagon.
