I've played Diablo 3 at its release, however quit at the same year of 2012 due to it collapsing on itself. Haven't got to play the Reaper of Souls expansion.

3.5 years later

Is it worth picking up now? As a Casual player with a job and other activities and a bit of extra time to play games, what is your opinion? Should I give it another go? How is Diablo 3 now in comparison to Diablo 3 three years ago?

Looking for actual information and actual opinions on the state of the game and whether it's worth it or not.

I am aware there will be troll posts as always on the internet, but for the serious people out there - don't be deterred by them, since I really need your help and information.

You'll have fun the first few days until you're fully geared and plateau'd. After 2 weeks when no clan member wants to play and you're stuck into public, you'll quit.

If you consider yourself to be a casual gamer then yes. This game can be compared to angry birds in skill and casualty.

And yes the game is still 100% Utter shit. If you quit because of the grind the prepare to Uninstall. If you haven't purchased the game I wouldn't consider it. Angry birds is 99c

if your looking for something similar to diablo 2, path of exile is for you.
