The reason d3 gets so much hate is because d1 and d2 were good games made by developers who know how to make games. The diablo community did not expect for d3 to be a dumbed down version of Gauntlet. D3 developers should have played d1 and d2 or they should have called d1/d2 developers up on the phone to try to figure out how to make d3.

yer jay wilson hated d2. He didn't like brevik for whatever reasons, so he changed everything and just kept very few aspects of the previous game. Fatal mistake as we all know.

Cos all he played was summoner necro and got telestomped by everyone all day.

He was one of those noobs who got account rekt in pvp.

That's why he was so opposed to the pvp aspect, and decided to take it out as a whole in d3.
