I just found an ancient ik weapon that was nicely rolled and wanted to test out a rend build.
I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong as I just started playing it, but I can't sustain fury vs RG (single target),
so I lose both taeguk stacks and perma WotB, and I'm not able to utilize stricken gem properly, so my boss dmg is horrible.

Anyone know how I deal with this?
I looked at the ladder and see people run with similar build:

im assuming you mean to use rend with WW to keep full time WotB this is my build http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/d2jsp-1167/hero/65989386 it works pretty good I haven't pushed as far as I can yet but I know I can handle T10 with no issues I think I overkill it on the fury generation but id rather have too much than not enough

yeah, your assumtion was right, it works before RG (or RG that spawns mobs)

Do you know if battle rage bloodshed procs on tics like rend?

Thanks for posting, I'll try to change some things around and see how it feels. The build is totally new to me so.

Did you try 6IK 4Wastes with RoRG? And then unity (obsidian for group and buffs?) and CoE as rings w/reapers .
lose focus/restraint, but get extra 40% toughness, and CoE instead of focus/restraint as dmg.
Will also lose furious charge as fury builder, but can add in battle rage for more dmg if it works on rend/ticks

from what I understand bloodshed is simply 20% area dmg each time you hit something I don't use unity cause I use together as one on my ancients with them being full time gives me the 50% damage reduction + 40% which is not 90% reduction but too early for the math
I don't see why you would WW with 6ik/4w because the 2500% dmg of nados > 250% for having WotB and ancients out me personally I use CoE just for the fact that when it does proc physical its a huge bonus vs 100% and having to worry about using 2 skills constantly to keep that 100% also I only use the zodiac because of the IAS/cooldown so I don't have to rend as much and can hit breakpoints for nados

rend doesnt work with bloodshed thats why everyone is using into the fray.
also use pain enhancer instead of stricken. rend damage is dynamic and doesnt snapshot, so everytime your damage increases from a buff(for example pain enhancer or coe) your ticks start to go up without the need of reapplying rend.
