2 questions and they are as followed.

Is 40 ES = 95%sorb.

If yes then next question is

Do I have to add 20Skill to ES then 20more from gear... or can I achieve 40lvl es by any means I choose and have the 95% shield when casted.


Example.

Say i have +9es staff.
3skill torch
1skill anni
9skill charms

thats 22 so if i had +18ES base + this 22 from gear that = 40 thus I now have 95%es when buffed?

But yes pending d2 realm prebuf may be allowed and you can gain Ed that way or by gear. If only by gear you can stat it how you want

Energy shield can only take you to 95~roughly the other 5% can be obtained with a certain build. But with those builds you will do fuck all damage.....

And yes es can be casted with offhand gear. Just like holy shield.

Holy shield precast wont increase dmg as that is dynamic and change based on ur current skill level.

Es Will stay at casted level.
Most soso builds with pvp eq will need 5 base Es, and 20tk, dmg reduction on Es is supplied by base skill in tk.

On Eu such builds have dmg. Btal, bb, snatchi. Low mana but care xD
