I haven't played d3 in like a year but I'm going to do a casual playthrough of it right now. Should I mark my hero as seasonal? I don't know what the point/difference is though, can someone explain it to me?

A season is a division of the year, marked by changes in weather, ecology and hours of daylight. Seasons result from the yearly orbit of the Earth around the Sun and the tilt of the Earth's rotational axis relative to the plane of the orbit.

3-4 month long season that includes new legendaries and legendary gems only available in the current season.
Leaderboards get reset and everyone starts from paragon 1 (after you hit level 70).

Black smith, jeweler, and enchantress are all level 1 as if you started a new account.


Its basically a fresh start for those looking to compete and not be behind.
