I have a feeling resistance damage reduction is complete bullshit in some way or another. Is there some kind of numerical formula that reduces the amount that actually affects your characters damage reduction. For example you would think having 1950 poison resist (reduce poison damage from level 70 enemies by 84.77% + 14.99%) would have some sort of effect when taking damage from such things as plagued but it turns out it does sweet fuck all and 600k life drains away in a matter of seconds.

What am I doing wrong here? Am I versing level 71+ characters so my 99.76% reduction is diminished or is it just straight up bullshit where blizzard needs to sit down and work out what the hell it is that they are actually doing?

more resistance = more toughness
green number = better
red number = worse

I know its complicated at first but you will understand over time.

You've reached the gr level where you die in 1-2 seconds no matter what you're wearing.

If you have that much resis, then you're most likely a witch doctor or wizard, in which case you don't want to have all resistance on any piece of gear. It's better to have armor, because your main stat already provides 10 all resis for every 100 int. Also, since you're on the 360, you're not going to have greater rifts, legendary gems, or set/gear updates. I sincerely recommend not even playing the game anymore, because there quite literally isn't an end game without greater rifts.

Yea but when I upgrade to xbox one. Ill be the boss. Already got 6 characters maxed. Finding ancient geae with my characters should be a breeze. But youre right xbox 360 is bullshit. There isnt even sufficient gear to be able to dominate t6 besides modded gear that is.

As far as armor goes.... I know its important but 8k armor with 1800 all res is sufficient.

For best defense, you want a 10:1 ratio of armor to all res. This means your armor is insanely lacking, you should have 18k to match your all res...
