When farming ancient items what is the best way?

Is solo or public games better?

Should I do rifts for greater rifts?

I am having hard time farming ancient items and i can't go too high in grifts maybe level 30 or so. What is best way?

I'm a barb btw.

Get most legendaries drop per hour.

Depending on your clear speed, GR35+ under 3 mins or just stick to T6 rifts spam.

Best is to quadbox. Easily 80-100 legs per hour.

Ancients have a 10% drop chance when you get a legendary.

So best way to farm ancients is get as many legendaries as possible, fast as possible. This means group plays in grifts as high as you can do around 3 minutes.

What is quadbox?

Multiboxing. Using multiple open windows of the game to play multiple characters at once.

In this case, it would be called a quadbox, implying that the one person is playing 4 separate characters.

e/ Basically, if you can't speed clear 35% greater rifts, just stick to 4-man T6 rifts.

Also will kadala possibly drop ancient or am I wasting shards?

any legendary gambled at kadala or crafted has a 10% chance of being ancient.
dropped items at T6 and higher also have a 10% chance.

Does 4 man have better drops than solo?

For greater rifts, it makes no difference.

For regular rifts, the more the merrier.

You get the group buff that gives more magic find, you can clear higher rifts faster = more legendaries from boss.
