OK - Seriously...

This guy has achieved over 5m eHP (real eHP, not inflated block% eHP) and 75k dps without a SINGLE shred of crit on ANY of his gear. He has 4,000 dex, 100k hp, 7.5k armor, 800 res... 60% dodge..... This is insanity.

I was inspired by this guy to start gearing up a new monk. My original intent with Hardcore was to make a monk without crit, getting all my damage source from Dex / Attack Speed. Especially now with the incoming massive buff to Rubies in weapons, I've decided to make a new monk.

Despite the fact that I'm EXTREMELY happy with how well I've done on my current monk (started hardcore with 10m transferred from softcore... monk now worth 150-200m from his own farmed drops) I simply can't go on knowing that this guy has done 100% what I originally set out to do. His monk is completely f***ing GOD-MODE, seriously.

So I've picked up a few pieces on the AH already for my new monk... but when comparing gear he is wearing to the stuff on the AH, it's like half the gear he's got is literally the best stuff on the server. Nothing on the AH even comes REMOTELY close to some of the rolls he's got on some gear. Examples:

280 dex mempo (with the vita roll)
280 dex vile w/ vita (not AS rare, but WTF expensive)
300 dex tasker + theo
260 dex ice climbers (with vita AND MOVE SPEED)

But here's the kicker....

280 dex blackthorne belt... WITH VITA AND ALMOST 80 ALL RES!?!??!?!

I think I can afford to build a budgeted version of this guy's char... but here's to hoping eventually I can be HALF the bad-a** he is and build a monk worthy of his inspiration.

If anyone is interested in any of the gear I'm currently wearing on my monk, I'd consider selling it for the right price. I have backup gear of EVERYTHING I've ever worn on my monk... so selling my upgraded pieces for the sake of completely regearing is something I'd consider.

I don't see why you would want to gear without any cc / cd seeing as it is possible to stack high ehp and damage at the same time. Not stacking crit isn't very smart IMO seeing as how the most OP skill monks have - sweeping winds cyclone relies on a high crit chance to function

You gotta realize that with the right dmg 3% lifesteal and 1000 loh + (pref with some lifereg) and ofc. decent EHP makes a character more tanky and also a much more effective killing machine than just mass-stacking ehp

You first say that his ehp isnt inflated by block, then say he has 60 dodge as if it was something different?

only 500~ Life regen and no Lifesteal or loh... IMO he is weak for that amount of cash that he have in gear

There is a difference between block-chance and dodge-chance, right or am i missing something here? Is dodge-chance also inflated on diabloprogress?

Ye well if you wanna brave the tough mp's you gotta build for it, grinding mp0 doesn't take that kind of gear to be dc-proof anyway

Is there a serious bug with diabloprogress ehp values? Its usually close to other calculaters for me.
