What do you think bliz will do with the new legendary items on the new patch?

They did say that they will be introducing new legendary for each classes.

Can't decide if I want to get the nice gears or not.

It's hard to say whether or not to gear up now.
I don't remember Blizzard saying for sure new legendary in 1.08

The difference between 2b monk and 5b monk isnt big enough to justify extra cost for me.

I think total cost for my old monk was like 1.3-1.5bil.

I would wait until 08 comes out. There will be some gfg gears coming out.

I don't remember reading anything about new items. But they did say that all items will drop properties based on the monster level.

So items like the Homunculus will actually have good damage, I'm not sure what items will be awesome for the monk yet but there is bound to be some awesome new gears.

But I do agree with Jin, he would know better than me anyways. I feel that a char worth 2b is only slightly less effective than a 5b char.

But for my monk, I think I'll just pick up a 170 vital inna pants and call it a day.

and maybe start crafting glove/shoulder/ammy/bracer for fun.

Don't know what to do with the rest of gold tho.

How does exactly the Fists of fury bonus work? Is it like some kind of bleeding damage, or all types of attacks do additional damage to the target>

The infused light rune on BOH synergizes with Fist of Fury's DOT dmg.

You pop BOH and then fist of fury multiple targets or 1 fat mob (elite). Then your spirit will quickly regen back to full with exalted soul 250 spirit globe.

And you can actually spam bells for like 3-4 seconds with 0 cost literally since your spirit globe doesn't even go down.

Then you spam more bells with leftover 250 spirit for couple more seconds.

Your BOH is up to use again pretty soon. It's actually super fun.

It won't work if you FoF single or double weak mobs since they will die before DOT kicking in.

I see. I am currently trying a setup without bells and I think that FoF bonus somehow stacks with Blinding flash (faith in light) too, and you do a shitload of dmg during these 3 seconds.
