Ah yes, that's right. Math fail on my part.

Yeah, damage scales linearly, though you could say that with respect to each other, weapon damage and dexterity have diminishing returns (the value of one relative to the other changes depending on how much you have of each). But in terms of overall damage, there are none.

For damage, the answer is never. Damage scales with linearly with dexterity.

I mentioned it only in terms of the weapon damage value of dexterity (when choosing between upgrading dexterity vs upgrading weapon damage). As dexterity/100 approaches weapon damage, the amount of equivalent weapon damage you get per point of dexterity decreases.

But in terms of total damage, each point of dexterity gives you exactly the same. (that is, it gives you an additional 1% of your weapon damage times other multipliers)

this Tempest Rush do pretty nice!
it reset Sweeping-wind-inner-storm duration, for a nice 3 spirit regen per sec
it cost 10*attacks per second spirit per second for channeling
it trigers damage and knockback same speed as your aps
it hits multiple targets
you can walk everywhere
good sks/gears allow evercast, thx to gzz regen spirit!
it knockbacks locks targets!
it allow you to fight whitout combinatiojn skills
its ias, is also based on your second duel wield weapon
it also have 60%slow / 25%damage reduction
in combi whit sweeping wind, you have 2 damage skills that do damage when running arround, also cc-ing monsters in the procces
its dam fun to use!

i was getting borred, found something fun again! ofc needs more testings!

What do you think about make a monk based in critical hit and critical dmg? (ofc with res, loh, def)

So I ran into a "waller + illusionist + arcane" special mob last night, and there is basically no way to deal with this running one of these more or less standard builds. Would be much simpler with tempest rush, but I gave that up.

crits don't really get us anything other than an extra sweeping wind stack, and even without crit stacking, you already get up to a 3stack pretty easily already. and with the way LoH and spirit generating mechanics work, lots of small hits is still far more valuable than the occasional big hit.

crit stacking is probably more useful if you were making a lifesteal build or something.

I may be wrong (and will happily be proven wrong if someone does), but monks simply don't have the item budget to go into stacking crit. A monk that stacks IAS/LoH is going to outperform and survive a monk who stacks crit any day of the week, simply because of how vital IAS/LoH is for Inferno survivability.

If Lifesteal were actually viable, then I could see crit being a viable alternative to IAS because bigger hits = more life healed. But until then, you're just not going to get anything out of it.

Ops :(, so...
I was looking for stuff with critical hit and chance for critical hit... i have now 30% chance critical hit and is current make critical hits each second :S
