You are beyond mentally challenged if you don't believe that Blizzard is sitting on a mountain of cash. 15$ a month from every person that plays WoW? + all the expansions? Thats nearing $200 for people that play today (including the initial purchase)
Not to mention the people that buy in-game mounts and trophies. Also not to mention they have Starcraft... Warcraft...
And they also take some of the profit from item selling sites dedicated to D2. Plus all the nerds buying shirts/posters/books/figures.
Blizzard has enough cash to come out with a few games and support them with high quality, without making them p2p.
Don't kid yourself, Blizzard is a HUGE company and their cash stack far exceeds what you think they have
