Is the original post still up to date? I'm trying to build a TR monk and am curious what the BIS are. I'm trying for the best experience-getting set up.

I'm thinking the boots right now are going to be easier to get. I had a VW but the dex on them were low (the crafted ones were like after 5th roll). There would be a slight drop in DPS there, but I could make up for it on other gear I think.

As for gloves... a good trifecta that I saw was > 200m, so I might want to wait or possibly continue crafting.

Try to get something like 230/50 nats boots

My trifecta was 120mil long long time ago. Of course you can find a good one for cheaper.

I am also giving my 25m in support of the monk guild but I'll have to be there in spirit since I would rather not leave my current guild

What about the name? I was with this name in head: Hells Bells WHY? Cause we bell as hell with da monks... Any 1 have sugestion for the name of the guild?
