Ok, me again... I am thinking about getting back into ubering. I am thinking about changing a little gear around to make it work, obviously also changing skill setup. If you think that is possible... I suppose I'd need to switch to 2*1handers, then, right? I have four potential weapons and about 50 m gold. the weappons I have are:

Echoing fury 1279.9 dps, 64% CHD (151 dex, +0.25 aps)
WKL 767.2 dps, +23% light damage, 2.4% LS, socket
Rare mace, 1099 DPS, socket, 2.4% LS, +7% ias
Rare sword, 849.3, +79% CHD, socket, 2.6% LS, +134 vit

the rare items seems nice, but am I corect in assuming that the legendary items will be the best options? Or could one of the other ones work better? Any other input would also be much appreciated!

for what? he basically would spend 4 millions for 4 more dex. this is simply not worth it at his current state of gear.
It's also funny seeing how everyone recommends WH while a good innas belt is cheaper and not much worse in terms of dps, especially when you run 2 blackdamage weapons.

Ok i think im at a point that no more cheap upgrades are possible... Reached 235k dps unbuffed. With 600 all res (OWE) and 40k life.

I use STI instead of OWE but that's because I have 500+ all res w/o OWE, Not sure which one would be best but prob OWE if your res is low.

With Blinding Flash you can either go for the extended time (it is only +1 second) or Faith in the Light which gives you a dmg boost. I've used both

I use FoT:Quickening instead of Thunderclap because you don't really need to tele to the ubers (you'll be tanking) and quickening will help regen spirit.

I use Beacon of Ytar so that I can cast Serenity, count 5 seconds, cast Blinding Flash and the cooldowns will expire at roughly the same time,then rinse & repeat. Ytar reduces cooldown times by 20% so they are 12sec and 16sec (so count 4-5 sec after serenity).

I'm not really a gear guru so I haven't added input there, but someone will. I'll take a look anyway and add in the edit if I find anything useful to say.

Use amethyst in your helm but I'm sure you already do when doing ubers.
Your gear looks good and there's nothing really I would change and I do ubers with a skorn as well. Any changes to be made would cost hundreds of millions. I think you could do ubers solo mp7-8 fairly easily, and probably 9-10 if you're skilled and tactical. With a group, mp9-10 may be a bit much with your current EHP and DPS numbers

Thank you, that is some good skill tips, I didn't really think much about that. I haven't done ubers with my monk, previously I ran a barb, but never did uber with monk... won't my complete lack of IAS gear be a problem? Would it be better to run with this Skorn than with some combination of the four weapons in my previous post? I will definately need to use OWE, though I am still only at 505 all resistance. I could change my soj for a ring with cc/chd85 stacked res and 135 dex. My character screen dps would go up by 13.5%, instead of 20% by the soj, but I'd get 600 all res (and slightly higher dodge). Would that be a good switch?

EDIT: also, inner storm instead of cyclone? Is that the best option?
