*ON* my ass or UP my ass? I don't really have a storage spot for rings on my ass. And you never know, you could get lucky. I got pretty lucky with crafting but have hit a terribly dry spell now. I seriously want to know what ring combo I could use, because one gives more dmg and the other more survivability.

Good HF ring. I just like using a SOJ though. It's on all the time for me. 6%cc on WOL makes up the paper dmg loss on whites. 2.25 spirit regen on mine is gg for me.

I would recommend you to use a wol soj all the time, but it's up to you really. Your HF is nice, so it's not like you are missing out on things.

BTW, I do have a HF that gives me like 35k dmg over my soj, I just don't like it.

Question, is there any particular reason why you went with that nat's ring? How much was that?

The all res is so little. You can get a better dps one for not too much gold these days.

Here's a question Firemace and I were arguing about regarding SOJs. If it says +6% to cold damage, TO lightning damage, to holy damage, does it only add +bonus damage to a pre-existing skill (like WoL is holy, FoT lightning) or do you get added 6% cold damage. I said you don't get cold dmg unless you actually DO cold dmg in an attack. JW

As i said. Put a cold soj on ur scoundrel and see. It ill snare things. His attacks without cold soj arent cold attacks...

It doesn't matter what elemental dmg you have on the sojs.

And even the cold dmg sojs don't work with some skills that we have.

try picking up a cheap 1mil cold soj and try it. FoT doesn't snare mobs. I think ti's because the FoT is lighting dmg skill. Crippling Wave/rising tide snares mobs since its non elemental dmg skill.

but really, the merit of having soj is not those elemental dmg increase mod, it's all same.

the soj is gg because of it's elite dmg / wol cc / spirit regen.

That makes sense - I did see there IS actual added cold damage but it would make sense for the cold not not override a preexisting elemental dmg. I wish I could search AH by MONKskill: WoL

Some stats are still snapshotted. elemental dmg% is still snapshotted, as is LS (last time I tested), so blind still buffs SW the same way it always did, and a skorn with LS, same deal.
