Well after some time thinking with Zero, i decided to go another way around on my monk. Its common now all the monks with the nats ring + boots combo. But theres a limit u can reach with that combination. If u dont have 1~2B to throw on a GG nats rings, u got no more upgrades to do on these slots.

Im proud to say: IM FREE OF U NATS COMBO!!!!!!!

Replaced nats boots for gd Ice climbers ( 235 dex, 61 vita, 12% mov speed, DOUBLE RES, 11% life AND A SOCK!) and nats ring for a gfg rare 6/9/33 with dex n res.

I mean it's not a bad combo, but 7cc + more cc is just too gg to give up. And the prices of Nat's boots/ring combo are bad at all for what you get.

But for pvp against WD/Wiz/DH, ice climbers/litany ring is not a bad combo. with like +1500 vitality stacked.

I would keep your old combo just in case, so that you are more versatile. I find myself using my hellfire ring (and rubbing it in your face) exclusively with a SOJ but every once in a while I swap back to my nats ring which gives me massive ehp + extra crits. I would be interested to check out another combo (i.e. different boots like ice climbers) to use for when I'm going with hellfire/soj. My nats boots are pretty decent. Good to see everyone is still trying new things

Zuni boots with good stats are a good alternative to ms ice climbers. it's cheaper too. and 8% flat dmg incrase is big.

I also thought about the ice climber + rare combo. This combo will work. And gg IC and rare ring can be expensive, too.
But the nats 7cc bonus is just too much to give up.
Its a struggle for monks to get high cc to begin with.
Also little bonus of armour and melee reduction from nat boots
Little bit of life regen from nats ring.

Its good to see different gear setup for monks.
Jeight seems to find different gears, too. ( Devils tongue, Crystal Fist, Tasker & Theo)
As long as its balanced at he end.
It's just personal preference.

Check out my hellfire ring and tell me how you would manage to work a SOJ into your build, lol. I really have a hard time and currently gear-swap between nats and soj depending if I'm fighting elites or not. With ubers, for Ghom and Kulle I have to wear the nats for the ehp and for Skeleton King I wear soj for a faster kill.
